Gimmy was rescued years ago from a construction site in the East as part of our TNRM programme. Today, she is 10 years old—a gentle senior whose greatest wish is simply to feel safe and loved.

Life hasn’t been easy for Gimmy. A tractor had left a scar on her in her younger days at a work site. Over the years, she has been for three home stays that didn’t work out. Her separation anxiety has made it difficult for her to adjust to a home environment, and as she enters her golden years, we know the chances of her finding a forever family are becoming increasingly slim.

Despite everything, Gimmy hasn’t lost her spirit. She loves people, enjoys leisurely walks, quiet moments with her favourite volunteers, and still lights up when it’s time for a game of fetch. She may be selective with other dogs and needs understanding around her food and anxiety, but those who know her well know just how loving and loyal she is.

Her little scar is a reminder of where she came from, but it has never defined her. Gimmy is quirky, funny and a little bit of an oddball. She loves shoe laces and dish cloths 😂
