Some stories make all the hard work worthwhile
Some stories make all the hard work worthwhile, and Cream Puff’s is one of them. Cream Puff was rescued from a puppy mill where she spent her entire life being used as a breeding dog. For years, she never knew the comfort of a family, a soft bed, or the feeling of truly belonging to someone.
That all changed when she met Jeviene and her husband. The connection was instant. They fell in love with Cream Puff the moment they met her, and somehow, Cream Puff seemed to know she had found her people too.
In spite of her upper palate issue, they opened their hearts and home to her without a second thought.
Thank you, Jeviene and hubby, for giving this sweet girl a chance to experience family life for the very first time!
Luna’s journey
Luna’s journey hasn’t been the smoothest, adopted as a puppy, she was recently returned to us due to changes in her family’s circumstances. But true to her resilient and adaptable spirit, Luna didn’t let that dim her light
It didn’t take long before she captured the hearts of Jena and Emmanuel, who were searching for a rescue dog to complete their family. And just like that, Luna found her second chance!
We are incredibly grateful to Jena and Emmanuel for opening their hearts and stepping up for Luna when she needed it most. Stories like hers remind us that sometimes, the right home just takes a little longer to find but it’s worth the wait.
Home sweet home
From island girl to home sweet home!
Lola was rescued from an offshore island as part of a TNRM project, and today she’s one of the many island pups who has found a place to truly call her own.
When Nerissa and Iggy were looking to welcome a furry companion into their beautiful family, they met Lola… and well, hearts melted instantly. It was love at first sniff!
Like many newly rescued dogs, the world of home life was a brand new adventure for Lola — routines, meal times, toilet schedules… all unfamiliar territory. But with lots of patience, gentle guidance, and so much love from Nerissa and Iggy, Lola slowly found her rhythm. She’s now thriving as part of her amazing new family.
We’re so grateful to Nerissa and Iggy for opening their hearts and home to their very first adopted dog, and for giving a Singapore Special the life she deserves!
Tofu
Rescued from a puppy mill as an ex-breeding dog, Tofu had a lot to learn — walking on leash, toilet habits, and what it truly meant to feel safe in a home of his own. With time, patience and plenty of love, he slowly blossomed.
Today, he’s found his happily ever after with Angeline and her hubby Now renamed Reumi, he’s starting a brand new chapter filled with comfort, care and love. Thank you for adopting folks!
Liam
Now lovingly known as Tuan, has found his forever family with Lydia and Zhe Wei.
Tuan was rescued from an offshore islands where we have been carrying out our Trap-TNRM project. Over the last two years, we've been bringing the island dogs to Singapore in pairs, giving them the chance to leave survival behind and discover what it means to be loved. We feel incredibly fortunate that so many of these dogs have found wonderful families.
Like many island dogs, Tuan was shy and unsure of city life. He also showed a tendency to want to bolt if he was unsure of a new place. It took time for him to trust, and settling into home life came with its own challenges, including bouts of separation anxiety. But Lydia and Zhe Wei never gave up. With patience, love, and understanding, they've helped Tuan grow more confident every single day.
Kaya & Toast
Kaya and Toast were rescued from a puppy mill after six long years of breeding. When they came to us, both girls had ear infections, mild skin issues and very little experience with affection or human interaction.
Then they met Kyra and her family. They initially came looking to adopt one of the girls, but soon discovered the golden rule: you can't have Kaya without Toast!
So, they opened their hearts and home to both girls.
Today, Toast is now Daisy, a sweet girl who loves cuddles, kisses and all the affection she once knew so little of. Kaya is now Lunar, an adventurous little lady who loves exploring and, of course, her toys! We are so happy they have a warm 🏡 and tonnes of cuddles now!
We are very grateful to Kyra and her family for adopting not one, but two, and making Lunar and Daisy part of their beautiful family. ❤️
Sadly, Puppy Mills are still legal in Singapore but we hope to help as many as we can find homes after years of being mill dogs. Thank you for following our page and helping us help animals in need!
